Piverse-Podcast was created as part of a university Seminar called critical sustainability, in the winter semester 2022/2023. Take a look if you're interested!

The western sustainability discourse is often characterized by very drastic opinions. We want to shed light on the grey areas that exist in sustainability. We found that there are many different topics that are dominantly discussed. For our research question, we wanted to look at how food choices are part of sustainability and how different, individual contexts impact the way we choose our nutrition. After finishing our project, it was quite interesting to evaluate the project and the group process and the dynamics that come with it. Self-evidently, working together let difficulties emerge, however we faced these challenges successfully and continuously learned during the process. We learned about how we could create safe spaces, to have look at the individual background and how diverse perspectives are not only important but also necessary to build pathways to sustainability.
